On Thursday, November 9th, the entire Olympic/Alliance family took time out from the regular schedule to pay tribute to those who serve in the military both past and present.  In a moving ceremony led by Col. Hendon and Sgt. Richardson, the JROTC cadets spoke about the history of Veteran's Day and Col. Hendon and Sgt. Richardson read the names of those Olympic/Alliance staff members, family, and friends who have bravely served our country.

While Taps was played, the cadets raised the American Flag to the top of the flagpole, and then in keeping with tradition, lowered it to half staff to honor those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice by giving their lives for our country.
