Both the certificated and classified staffs at Olympic dedicate a great deal of time and effort to provide guidance and support to students. The guidance staff includes:
Student/ Services Coordinator
Enrollment Coordinator
Career College Specialist
Principal
2 Vice Principals
School psychologists
Homeroom teachers and Advisory teachers
Therapist / counselors
As part of the orientation process, all new Olympic High students and their parents attend an orientation presentation. Students must then complete a one week orientation class called First Step before being enrolled in the regular school program. First Step currently meets from 11:00 to 2:00, Monday Thru Friday.
A varied career education program with speakers, vocational interest and aptitude tests, research on careers, job shadowing, mock interviews done by business/community partners, and a Future Faire are all available to our students.
Work
Experience Education and work permits are available to students, many of whom
work full or part time.
