Message from Principal Marc Lopes
We are now in the last term of the 2015 school
year, and I am excited about the many students who have completed the graduation
requirements to earn a high school diploma. The past few months, I have
witnessed many students mature and take responsibilities for attending class
regularly and working diligently to complete classroom assignments and projects.
I highly recommend that all returning students and parents/guardians contact the
Counselor or Administrator to obtain an Individualized Graduation Plan for the
2015-2016 school years.
Dress Code
The dress code continues to be a point of emphasis at Olympic Alternative High
School. The administration and staff of Olympic High School is firmly committed
to the development of a school culture that is reflective of learning and
excellence. We ask that you discuss your teenager’s clothing choices. Some
questions for consideration are:
• Is the outfit appropriate for a school environment?
• Do the clothes reflect the person I am or want to be?
• Do the clothes follow the dress code?
We build excellence by having pride in our appearance. Of special note is
appropriate wearing of pants and jeans. Please encourage your teenager to wear
their pants at waist level. Additionally, please encourage your student to wear
shirts with sleeves and acceptable neck lines, and shorts and skirts that are
appropriate in length. If your son or daughter is not able to dress in an
appropriate manner, they will be subject to administrative action including
being sent home. Thank you for your attention in this matter.

GRADUATION
We are proud to announce that the Commencement Exercises for the Olympic High
School Class of 2015 will be held on June 12, 2015 at The Concord Pavilion. The
graduation ceremony will begin promptly at 7:00 PM.
All information regarding tickets, expectations, photographs, diplomas and
scholarships will be forthcoming through assemblies, announcements and flyers.
