5th Annual Dreamers Conference, “Your Right to Dream/ Tu Derecho a Soñar,”
This year, Los Medanos College is hosting the
5th Annual Dreamers Conference, “Your Right to Dream/ Tu Derecho a Soñar,” on
Saturday, March 28th, 2015 from 8:00am – 2:00pm in the Recital Hall, MU-720.
It is an educational event to inform youth and their families about their
educational rights. Get the facts about the:
· CA Dream Act
· CA Drivers’ License Application Process
· Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) Renewal
· Immigration updates and
· State and federal policies to help make college more affordable for
undocumented students
· and much more
Please share the following information with your students, your staff, local
high schools, and the people you serve in your community. I have attached the
